Silas, Rolinda

Rolinda Silas Howato is a Hopi-Tewa potter. She’s the youngest daughter of Roberta Youvella Silas, sister of Venora, Antoinette, Loretta and Jofern. Like her sisters, she grew up in a pottery making household and was exposed to every aspect of the process along the way. She’s not mentioned by Dr. Gregory Schaaf so she wasn’t producing pottery when he was gathering his data in the early 2000s. There isn’t anything else available about her.
