Ortega, Santiago

Santiago Ortega is a potter from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. He says he learned to make pottery from his friend, Hector Gallegos Jr. Hector is also the husband of Laura Bugarini. Celia Ortega is Santiago’s sister, Yoly Ledezma is his mother.
