Youvella, Susie

Susie Maha Youvella (1922-1995) was a Hopi potter from Sichomovi on First Mesa. Her grandfather was Yellow Light, the first Hopi silversmith. She married Charlie Youvella.

A member of the Kachina Clan, Susie was the mother of Wallace Youvella Sr. and mother-in-law of Iris Nampeyo.
