Suina, Toni
Antonita Toni Cordero Suina was born into Cochiti Pueblo around 1948. Her parents were Fred and Helen Cordero. Among her siblings were George Cordero and Leonard Trujillo. She grew up learning how to make pottery through watching and working with her mother. As a result of that, like so many others in her family, Toni mostly made storyteller figures.
Toni married Del Trancosa and moved to his home at San Felipe Pueblo. She continued making storytellers there but she was never prolific and, as of 2022, we don’t know if she’s still making pottery or not.
