Velarde, Tricia

Tricia Velarde is the daughter of Sophie Cata of Santa Clara Pueblo and Frank Velarde of Ohkay Owingeh, granddaughter of Frances Naranjo Salazar and great-granddaughter of Flora Naranjo. She seems to like making small black jars, bowls and miniatures, often deep-carving them with avanyu or geometric designs.
