Mumzewa, Vivian

Vivian Mumzewa Polacca (1905-1984) was a Hopi potter originally from the village of Sichomovi but who lived most of her life in Polacca, AZ, at the foot of First Mesa.

Vivian mostly made Sikyátki-Revival bowls and ladles in black-on-red. She was active in the marketplace from about 1960 to about 1980.
