Cain, Linda
Linda Cain was born into Santa Clara Pueblo in 1949. Her mother was Mary Cain, her father was Willie Cain, her grandmother was Christina Naranjo. Among her siblings were Billy Cain, Joy Cain, Warren Cain and Tina Diaz.
Linda clearly grew up in a pottery-making household, first learning to work with Clay Mother when she was a little girl. Linda, in turn, passed her knowledge and skills on to her daughters, Autumn Borts-Medlock and Tammy Garcia.
Linda was known for making carved redware and blackware, jars, bowls and seed pots.
