Calabaza, Vicky

Vicky Tenorio Calabaza was born to parents Emiliano and Petra G. Tenorio at Santo Domingo Pueblo in April 1959. She says she learned how to make pottery from her grandmother, Lupe L. Tenorio. Lupe was also the great-aunt of Robert Tenorio and he learned a bit from her, too.

Vicky has been active as a potter since the early 1980s, mostly making polychrome jars and bowls. She also makes jewelry. Franklin Tenorio was her cousin.
